  • Mental Health Support – The Ministers and Missionaries Benefits Board (MMBB) has partnered with National EAP to provide counseling and referral services to clergy. 
  • Financial Planning – Did you know that if you have a retirement plan with MMBB, you can access free consultations with a financial planner? This is an underutilized resource that can help with the financial stress of ministry.

Preserving Black Churches Grant Program – Applications Open

The National Trust for Historic Preservation’s African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund is now accepting applications for the Preserving Black Churches grant program. This $60 million national initiative supports historically Black houses of worship as vital centers of faith, culture, and community.

📌 Deadline: September 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM ET

💰 Grant amounts: $50,000–$500,000
Funding supports:

  • Capital restoration
  • Planning and assessments
  • New programming and interpretation
  • Organizational capacity and staffing
  • Endowments for long-term sustainability (1:1 match required)
