The Massachusetts Baptist Charitable Society is seeking to hire an Assistant Treasurer to receive and deposit funds as well as record all financial receipts, donations, and other transactions in Quickbooks according to IRS audit requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the treasurer to prepare a current financial statement for Executive Committee meetings
- Reconcile all cash accounts on a monthly basis.
- Work with the payroll processing service to pay all employees and 1099 contractors and complete all necessary tax filings and reports.
- Work with the treasurer to prepare for the annual audit.
- Work with the Executive Director and Treasurer in preparing an annual budget to be presented to the Executive Committee and trustees, annually.
- Meet as a non-voting member of the Executive Committee
- Convene and attend meetings with the Investment committee and manager
- Meet as a non-voting member of the Board of Trustees.
